"Music that gives"

Music means different things to different people. To get people to care about an obscure online music store that gives money to charity, we took well-known songs and put them in a slightly different context.

Behind each song is a story. This is theirs.

Installation 1 : Bathroom Stall

In a women's bathroom in a bar.

The song "I'll be watching you" will be playing the whole time.

#1 As you walk in to the bathroom, you'll see this.

#2 This is the visual you see when you open the door.

#3 You sit down on the toilet and will see this.

Installation 2 : Alleyway

In one of those seedy but gentrified-enough alleys on the Lower East Side.

Play the song and go inside. Experience it.

Inspired by Miranda July.

Microsite : Music Drive
